Additionally, John serves as VP Operations at the board of the Project Management Institute – Canadian West Coast Chapter, providing leadership and expertise on technology issues, and as the Sponsorship Chair for the Vancouver Maker Foundation, helping to raise funding for the annual Vancouver Maker Faire.
