Terry Childs motion for reduced bail denied -- again

Childs had another bail reduction hearing; his motion was denied, and he remains in jail on $5 million bail

As far as the Terry Childs case goes, the past few weeks have been very quiet. Since his lawyer recused herself from the case citing a conflict of interest (one that was not made public), there's been very little to report on the matter. Today, however, Childs had another bail reduction hearing; his motion was denied, and he remains in jail on $5 million bail.

The judge in the case seems to consider that Childs would constitute a threat to the city's network if released and thus should remain behind bars. Childs has now been in jail for just over three months.
