EXPERIAN ON MONDAY plans to unveil a data quality consulting service called DataView, which will assess factors such as relationships between data sets and help customers make accurate decisions based on their data. "Anybody that has customer data ... and are trying to make good, accurate decisions off their data can definitely benefit from this," said Chandos Quill, vice president of strategic marketing, integrated solutions at Experian, in Orange, Calif. Experian will offer strategies for data quality, such as recommending metadata models. A typical engagement from Experian will cost about $100,000.
