CrownPeaklaunches on-demand site search
Hosted content management services provider CrownPeak last month introduced an on-demand Web site search service designed to automatically learn and improve over time. CrownPeak Search monitors each request and user interaction within a site, using semantic analysis of that information to refine future searches. The service includes progressive matching technology, which can adjust misspelled queries and interpret the intent behind the search phrase. Other features include manual or automated categorization and clustering, related linking, spell-checking, indexing of password-protected sites, and full reports on searches and queries. For sites with 500 to 20,000 pages, the service costs $1,800 per month.
