Augmented product displays
Natan Linder, Yoav Reches, and Ilya Tsekov have re-imagined the product displays you see in stores for tech-savvy, connected shoppers. Their interactive product display counter gives shoppers product information and Web access so that they can read reviews and do additional research on the products they're interested in purchasing. The Augmented Product Counter can also connect shoppers to sales people via videoconferencing. LuminAR technology, which consists of a Pico projector, camera, and wireless computer, powers the Augmented Product Counter.
