ManageSoft refreshes desktop management tool
ManageSoft last week debuted ManageSoft Refresh, software designed to use a zero-touch process for automating tasks associated with replacing hundreds of older PCs and upgrading software. ManageSoft Refresh ensures that corporate users have the correct software installed on their machines and that the software is properly configured. The product makes sure that each desktop conforms to the standards that a company’s IT department has laid down for license and security compliance, and it provides users the capability to order new or replacement PCs through a portal. When a new PC arrives, ManageSoft automatically installs the appropriate applications and migrates the user’s data and personal settings to the new system. Pricing starts at $50 a seat.
