Symbol bridges network and wireless devices
Symbol Technologies last week introduced the CB3000 client bridge to provide wireless connectivity and information access in areas of businesses not typically connected to networks. With the CB3000, companies can connect as many as 16 Ethernet-enabled devices to a network at locations where installing Ethernet cable is considered cost-prohibitive. The CB3000 offers a secure, fast, robust wireless network connection for Ethernet-enabled devices such as printers, scales, medical equipment, manufacturing machinery, time clocks, and point-of-sale devices and systems. Such devices become mobile and available to users wherever they need them. The CB3000 is currently available to order through Symbol partners in select regions.
