How do your ERP modules stack up?

From financials to procurement, survey respondents rate Oracle's, PeopleSoft's, and SAP's offerings

In the 2004 InfoWorld ERP Survey, we asked readers to rate the success of five ERP modules: financials, human resources, manufacturing, logistics, and procurement. When their answers are broken out by vendor -- Oracle, PeopleSoft, and SAP -- it becomes clear that all ERP modules are not created equal. Overall, readers have a generally high opinion of their SAP modules, which have the greatest "functions well" numbers, but no one vendor was singled out for "should be replaced." When it comes to dissatisfaction, Oracle's customers were least impressed with the manufacturing module, PeopleSoft's customers want to replace the logistics module, and SAP's customers were unhappiest with the procurement module.
