Dell PowerEdge 1955 Blade System

Dell's PowerEdge 1955 took the high-performance prize in our Hawaii shoot-out. Trumping both HP and Sun, the Dell blade system surprised us in the SPEChpc tests, turning in the best score by far, and it offers unique features such as the embedded Avocent KVM. The management can run as a stand-alone device or integrated into Dell's Open- Manage framework. In spite of being the smallest chassis in the test, the PowerEdge 1955 offers a significant amount of processing power and, all things considered, the best bang for the buck. FULL STORY ...
