At a Konami game showcase Wednesday night, a company representative confirmed a May 19th pre-order date for the limited-edition Metal Gear Solid 4 PlayStation 3 bundle.
One more thing: supplies are said to be "very, very limited." Metal Gear Solid 4 producer Ryan Payton went so far as to suggest that I get up early in the morning on May 19th, with credit card in hand, if I was serious about buying one of the gunmetal grey PS3 bundles. "We're not kidding around when we say 'limited edition'," Payton said without confirming the exact number of the bundles available.
Judging by the presentation, the Metal Gear Solid 4 PS3 bundle appears to include a 40GB PlayStation 3 with a gunmetal grey finish, a DualShock 3 rumble-enabled controller, and a copy of Metal Gear Solid 4.
