Eastern Software System (ESS) has announced that it has won a prestigious contract from The Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) to implement its flagship ERP product ebizframe for their Services Business.

ebizframe ERP implementation by ESS will be driven towards automating Sales, Procurement, Inventory, Finance, Assets and HR-Payroll functions for GIPC whose main role is to encourage, promote and facilitate investment across all sectors of the Ghana economy. Some of the services provided by GIPC include Investment Facility, Investment Procedure Guidelines, Investment Environment, Monitoring and Evaluation and Cost Analysis for doing business in Ghana.

According to Anil Bakht, Chairman & Managing Director, Eastern Software Systems, "We are proud to have bagged this prestigious contract from GIPC, Ghana's premier agency for attracting and managing foreign investments. Our success in Ghana shall certainly make us more acceptable amidst other Government Agencies and also the corporate sector in Ghana that we intend reaching out to."

This contract is ESS' first government order in Western Africa and has been awarded in the face of stiff competition. ESS' ebizframe was chosen from among a host of ERP products offered by various technology vendors from around the world. The GIPC made its decision in favor of ESS after a careful scrutiny of ESS' product features, delivery capabilities and vast presence across West Africa.

Rated amongst the top 10 ERP companies in India by Frost & Sullivan, ebizframe has time and again successfully outbid international majors for prestigious ERP implementation projects both in terms of price and features. ESS also ranks amidst top 10 home-grown software product brands from India.
