Mac flashback: Original InfoWorld review of the Mac Portable (10/23/1989)

"Apple claims that the Mac Portable suffers from no compromises. In our view, however, cost, weight, and size weigh against a state-of-the-art display, superior power supply and control, and full Mac functionality. The new portable in town may be heavy (16 pounds) and expensive ($6,500 and up) but its set of features give it an allure that many current Mac users will find hard to resist. After a few keystrokes, you may develop a bad case of the wannas for this lovable luggable."
