Judy Arteche-Carr

Judy Arteche-Carr is a strategic advisor to global companies and CXOs in the areas of management consulting and global sourcing. Judy drives business transformation discussions, its alignment to technology and impact on global sourcing models with an industry focus. She is currently an adjunct professor at Fordham University's College of Business. Previously, Judy held management positions at global technology and services companies Unisys Corporation and Electronic Data Systems (EDS); and financial institutions JP Morgan and Salomon Brothers focused on information risk management, relationship management and business technology.
Judy has a Masters in Business Administration in Finance from the Stern School of Business (New York University) and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts. Her professional affiliations include the Women's Bond Club, Women on Wall Street, CIO Collective and SIMNY. She was also a finalist for the Amy B. Kahn "Women in IT: Excellence in Leadership" Award in September 2004.
Ursuline Foley
SVP & CIO, XL Re & XL Financial, XL Global Services, Inc.
Ursuline Foley is senior vice president and chief information officer of XL Re and XL Financial Lines. She is responsible for all information systems strategy, support and operations for the Reinsurance Life and non-Life business. Since joining the Company in 1990, she has held a variety of positions related to technology management.
She reports to the CEO of Global Business Services and is a member of the Management Team at XL which is responsible for aligning all XL IT strategy and budget against the XL business plans. She is also one of three IT executives on the Executive Management Group of XL which is composed of the next 52 senior leaders of XL.
Ursuline has 25 years of information technology experience, of which 20 years were spent serving the reinsurance industry. She holds a Bachelor of Science and Diploma in Education from University College Cork, Ireland and also a Masters of Science from Pace University, New York.
Tsvi Gal

Tsvi Gal was until recently the CTO for Deutsche Bank Investment Banking and Asset Management.
Tsvi served as CIO & CTO at Merrill Lynch, Wells Fargo, ABN AMRO Bank and Bank of America and as president of AT&T.COM, a subsidiary of AT&T which he built to become a $400M company. From 1996 to 2001, Tsvi served on the USA technology delegation to the G7. He developed the first Internet bank at Wells Fargo Bank. In 2001, he received the Einstein Award from the State of Israel President. Tsvi is a Computer Science graduate of Rutgers University and holds an MBA from Golden Gate University. He serves on the Board of Directors at Cardean University and Dati, as an advisor to Rutgers University president and as president of the New York Metro SIM chapter.
Dr. Mary Hall Gregg
VP & CIO, Quest Diagnostics
Mary Hall Gregg is vice president and chief information officer for Quest Diagnostics. Previously, Dr. Gregg was vice president for Clinical IT Solutions for MedPlus, the information technology subsidiary of Quest Diagnostics. Dr. Gregg was responsible for sales and marketing of physician directed information technology products.
Prior to joining MedPlus, Dr. Gregg held the position of vice president, Information Technology for Quest Diagnostics, where she directed lab and billing application development as well managed a nationwide field support team. Before joining Quest Diagnostics, Dr. Gregg was vice president of Business Information Systems and deputy CIO for the American Red Cross. Prior to that, she worked with BDM Federal, a systems integration company, and Merck Research Laboratories. Dr. Gregg is a graduate of the Medical College of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University, with a Ph.D. in Biostatistics. In addition, Dr. Gregg attended Vanderbilt University where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics.
Jim Knight
Global CIO/EVP, Chubb and Son Insurance Company
As a Global CIO, Jim Knight provides technology vision and leadership for developing and implementing IT initiatives that create and maintain leadership for the Chubb Corporation worldwide. Jim is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and is the EVP on the Board of the New Jersey Chapter of the Society of Information Management.
Jim brings over 28 years of experience in the delivery and management of Information Technology mostly in the Property and Casualty Insurance industry. Prior to Chubb, Jim worked at Utica National Insurance Company, Home Insurance Company and Merck-Medco. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Utica College and a Master of MIS from Kennedy-Western University.
David L. Luce
CIO (retired), Rockefeller Group International
David Luce recently retired from the Rockefeller Group International after more than 15 years as CIO for this major commercial real estate management and development company doing business on a global basis. He is a long time SIM member, having served in many leadership capacities including president and chairman of the New York Metro chapter, and president of SIM International. David continues to serve on the New York Metro executive board, as well as the recently formed SIM International Foundation executive board.
Dr. Jerry Luftman
Associate Dean, Distinguished Professor, Stevens Institute of Technology
Dr. Luftman is the associate dean of Graduate Information Systems Programs, and distinguished professor at Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken New Jersey. His career includes strategic positions in management (Information Technology, including being a CIO, and consultant), management consulting, Information Systems, and executive education. After a notable 22 year career with IBM, and over 15 years at Stevens, Dr. Luftman's experience combines the strengths of practitioner, consultant, and academic. His framework for assessing IT-business alignment maturity is considered key in helping companies around the world understand, define, and scope an appropriate strategic planning direction that leverages Information Technology.
Dr. Luftman is the founder and leader of Stevens graduate IS Programs; one of the largest in the world. He created and teaches a popular end-of Masters course on managing the IT resource, which explores how to be a successful IT executive. Dr. Luftman's newest book is Competing in the Information Age: Align in the Sand.
Leif G. Maiorini
CIO, Civic Development Group/Millennium Teleservices
Leif Maiorini is responsible for leading all Information Technology initiatives for both the CDG Management and Millennium Teleservices (MTS) corporate entities. Leif joined CDG/MTS in 1995 in an effort to develop and manage the IT capabilities necessary to support the company's rapid expansion. The company operated four locations in the New Jersey area prior to his arrival. Currently the company manages call center operations in over 70 locations throughout the United States and Canada.
Leif was the director of IT for RMH Teleservices. During his nine year tenure, Leif was responsible for the management and application of technology throughout the corporation. Under Leif's guidance, RMH was a pioneer in call center automation, installing one of the first automated dialing systems in the United States. Leif is the president of the New Jersey Chapter of the Society for Information Management and is a member of the Direct Marketing Association, American Teleservices Association and the Wharton Club of New Jersey.
Adam Noble

As the CIO for GAF Materials Corporation, Adam Noble provides vision and leadership by partnering with the business to deliver innovative solutions to his constituents. Adam is a Project Management Professional (PMP), a member of the Society for Information Management (SIM) and a member of the Manufacturing Alliance (MAPI).
Adam has over 22 years of experience in delivering business solutions to global organizations. His experience covers areas such as Data Warehouse Technology, Mergers and Acquisitions, Global Outsourcing and a wide array of technology solutions for the business. Adam has experience in the Pharmaceutical, Banking, Manufacturing, Telecommunications, Package Delivery, Consulting and Chemical Industries. Prior to GAF, Adam worked at JPMorgan Chase, Mars Incorporated, AlliedSignal Corporation, UPS, AT&T and Bristol Myers Squibb. Michael L. Pellegrino

Mike Pellegrino is responsible for leading the IT department for Fujifilm U.S.A., Inc., the US-based subsidiary of imaging and information leader Fujifilm Co. Ltd. in Japan. In his role, Pellegrino provides strategic direction and oversees development and support of all computer applications and infrastructure that integrate and support various businesses. In addition, he is leading the effort to provide core application support for other Fujifilm companies in North America.
Pellegrino spent more than 18 years in a variety of business and technical managerial roles at divisions of Unilever USA, including IT director for customer and channel and brand development, and director of integration and service development for the global infrastructure team. Mike holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield. He is currently the president of the Fairfield/Westchester SIM Chapter, and is an advisor on the CIBETL Board for the University of Bridgeport Schools of Business and Engineering.
Rafail Portnoy

Mr. Portnoy is an accomplished senior IT executive with over 15 years of success with large, global organizations. His industry experience spans Finance, Media, Entertainment, Management Consulting, Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals.
Currently Mr. Portnoy is chief information officer at The Levin Institute, a newly formed organization, focused on globalization, international affairs and specialized worldwide research for rapidly changing human talent pool environments. As Levin’s CIO, Mr. Portnoy is responsible for daily operations and strategic world-wide technology development and adoption for this unique, international business and commerce institute. Prior to becoming CIO at Levin, Mr. Portnoy was a principal with Information Technology Consulting and Services practice at IBM Global Services.
Mr. Portnoy is a graduate of Polytechnic University, with a Master of Science degree and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Pace University. He also advises Venture Capital funds on technology viability of prospective startups.
Joseph Puglisi

Mr. Puglisi is vice president and chief information officer for EMCOR Group Inc., the world's leader in specialty construction, facilities services and energy infrastructure. Mr. Puglisi is responsible for technology strategy and direction for over 70 operating companies throughout the U.S., Canada and the UK.
Prior to joining EMCOR in 2000, Mr. Puglisi served as vice president and CIO at Chartwell Re, a major insurance and reinsurance company where he managed both technology and administration for the company. Before that, he was corporate director of IT for Lehrer McGover Bovis, one of the largest Construction Management firms in the world. While there, he advanced the use of technology at the New York headquarters and regional offices, from disparate word processing and spreadsheet applications on disjointed computers to a unified systems structure. Mr. Puglisi received a B.S. and MBA from the Stern School of Business at NYU. He also serves on the Board of the local SIM chapter.
Perry Rotella
SVP &CIO, Moody's Corporation
Perry Rotella is senior vice president and chief information officer of Moody's Corporation. He is responsible for all aspects of information technology strategy, support and operations globally.
Prior to joining Moody's, Mr. Rotella served as CIO for AIG's Domestic Brokerage Group and as AIG's global chief technology officer, responsible for setting global technology direction and leveraging technology to support new sources of revenue. Prior to joining AIG, Mr. Rotella spent 15 years with American Management Systems (AMS) where he held a variety of roles in the consulting organization before being appointed chief technology officer for AMS's Insurance Technology Group in 1997.
Perry graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics and economics.
Mark Sanders

Mark E. Sanders is senior vice president and chief technology officer for New York Life Insurance Company. He is responsible for the company's information technology vision, strategy and planning, overseeing the Enterprise Architecture and Engineering division in the Corporate Information Department. Mr. Sanders is an accomplished entrepreneur with over 25 years of executive management and advanced technology experience. Under his leadership, he has developed industry-wide systems in support of global financial trading, retail brokerage, asset management, computer manufacturing and defense-related electronics, all with a proven track record of leveraging technology to improve profitability. He has held management positions in diverse functional areas, including technology, sales, marketing, finance and operations.
Mr. Sanders is currently the president of the Wall Street Technology Association (WSTA), which is a non-profit organization that acts as a technology knowledge broker in the Financial Services industry. Mr. Sanders holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and an executive MBA in Management.
Dr. Frank Sirianni
VP & CIO, Fordham University
Currently Vice President and CIO for Fordham University in New York, Frank Sirianni has provided leadership for more than 20 years improving the organization's competitive position by pioneering innovative human and technical systems. Before coming to Fordham, Frank led a technology renewal program at the Fashion Institute of Technology including establishing a model governance program for technology investments.
Prior to FIT, Frank held the positions of vice president for planning and new business initiatives and chief information officer for St. John's University in New York. Again Frank pioneered the university's first IT organization. This period included the opening of a campus in Rome, Italy, and 30% revenue growth. St. John's was named by Information Week as one of the Top 100 Intranets and was ranked #35 in Yahoo! Internet Life for the "Most Wired Campus" in America. The University and Frank were cited by several government and NGO organizations for humanitarian assistance in the TWA Flight 800 tragedy.

As Chief Information Officer of GE Real Estate, Hank Zupnick's focus is to unlock the power of technology to help drive global growth. When Hank joined Real Estate in 2000, the business was still overwhelmingly dependent on expensive, time-consuming and error-prone manual processing. Under his leadership, and with strong support and partnership with Real Estate's business leaders, Real Estate IT has applied technology strategically to improve productivity, make investment decisions more effectively, better manage transaction risks and improve controllership and compliance.
