C. Warren Axelrod
Business Information Security Officer & Chief Privacy Officer, US Trust
C. Warren Axelrod is the chief privacy officer and business information security officer for the United States Trust Company, N.A. At US Trust he interfaces with the firm's business units to identify and assess privacy and security risks and mitigate them, and to ensure that security policies, standards and procedures are followed.
He has worked in many areas of the financial services industry, at firms such as SIAC, HSBC Securities and Pershing. He is involved at both the industry and national level with security and critical infrastructure protection issues. He is a member of the SIFMA Privacy Committee, the SIFMA Information Security Subcommittee, the FSSCC R&D Committee and several BITS risk and security working groups.
He holds a Ph.D. in managerial economics from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University and honors bachelor's and master's degrees in electrical engineering, economics and statistics from the University of Glasgow, Scotland.

Richard A. Clarke

Richard A. Clarke is an internationally recognized expert on security, including homeland security, national security, cyber security and counterterrorism. He is currently an on-air consultant for ABC News.
Clarke served the last three Presidents as a senior White House advisor. Over the course of an unprecedented 11 consecutive years of White House service, he held the titles of: Special Assistant to the President for Global Affairs, National Coordinator for Security and Counterterrorism and Special Advisor to the President for Cyber Security.
Prior to his White House years, Clarke served for 19 years in the Pentagon, the Intelligence Community and State Department. During the Reagan Administration, he was Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Intelligence. During the Bush (41) Administration, he was Assistant Secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs and coordinated diplomatic efforts to support the 1990-1991 Gulf War and the subsequent security arrangements.
John Dasher

Mr. Dasher brings more than 20 years of technology marketing and development experience to PGP Corporation, where he manages the lifecycle of all products in the PGP encryption suite. Most recently, he was director of business development & new products for FileMaker, Inc. (a wholly owned subsidiary of Apple Computer), with responsibility for all aspects of FileMaker's applications business. Mr. Dasher held senior marketing and development management positions at Ventro (the first venture-funded business-to-business e-commerce marketplace) and Xerox's Internet & Software Solutions organization. He co-founded and was VP of engineering for Verano, an enterprise content management and supply chain management software startup. He spent 12 years at Apple Computer, playing a key role in the development of its standard-setting PowerBook products and making significant contributions to its award-winning imaging products. He holds a patent on multi-platform search (U.S. patent number 6,055,543) and has a B.A. from the University of San Diego.
Doug Dineley

Phillip Dunkelberger

Mr. Dunkelberger has more than 20 years of technology and security industry expertise. He served as CEO of PGP Inc., the original PGP software startup that was acquired and subsequently sold by Network Associates (now McAfee). He also was vice president of Sales at Symantec Corporation and held senior marketing and sales positions at Apple Computer and Xerox. Most recently, Mr. Dunkelberger served as Entrepreneur-In-Residence at DCM-Doll Capital Management. He previously served as president and CEO of Embark, a recruiting management tool for the education community acquired by the Princeton Review, and as president and COO of Vantive Corporation, a vendor of enterprise customer relationship management (CRM) software products acquired by PeopleSoft (now part of Oracle). He serves on TechNet's CEO Cybersecurity Task Force and is a founder and member of the Board of Directors of the Cyber Security Industry Alliance (CSIA). Mr. Dunkelberger has a B.A. in Political Science, magna cum laude, from Westmont College.

Kevin R. Gillis joined Ipswitch in 2003 and brings over 15 years of product management experience in software technology companies. Adam Hansen

Lloyd G. Hession

Highly experienced securing Wall St. systems and networks, he is now chief security officer for BT Radianz, where he is responsible for safeguarding a global infrastructure that enables the trading of trillions of dollars per day.
A former industry analyst with Gideon Gartner's Giga (now Forrester Research), Mr. Hession is frequently sought for his views on security architecture and strategy. Chris Jones

Mr. Jones has worked with security and privacy executives at Fortune 500 companies in many industries to determine their requirements for addressing the insider threat to data security. Vontu software prevents confidential information, including customer data and intellectual property, from being sent outside the network.
Prior to Vontu, Mr. Jones ran his own consulting company specializing in application strategy and design for F500 enterprise and business-to-business technology companies. Clients included TIBCO, Netscape, Hewlett-Packard, Sun Microsystems, Intel and Silicon Valley Bank. Chris Jones received a B.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University.
Stephen R. Katz, CISSP

For over 25 years, Steve has been directly involved in establishing, building and directing Information Security and Privacy functions. He is the founder and president of Security Risk Solutions, an information security company providing consulting and advisory services to major, mid-size, startup and venture capital companies. Steve is an executive advisor to Deloitte, is on the Board of Directors of nCircle Inc, on the Technology Advisory Board of Phoenix Technologies and is on the Advisory Board of CSO Magazine. Steve is also a member of the (ISC)2 Americas Advisory Board for Information Systems Security.
Steve managed the Information Security Program at JP Morgan for 10 years. In 1995, he joined Citicorp/Citigroup after the Russian hacking incident. At Citi, Steve was the industry's first chief information security officer. He spent the next six years directing Citigroup's global Corporate Information Security Office. Steve then joined Merrill Lynch as their chief information security and privacy officer.
Faizel Lakhani

Prior to joining Reconnex, Lakhani was vice president of Marketing at ConSentry Networks, a leading LAN security company, responsible for the go to market plan as well as overall product strategy and direction. Prior to ConSentry, Lakhani was vice president of Marketing at Caspian Networks, a flow-based routing company, where he was responsible for all aspects of marketing. Lakhani began his career at Nortel Networks holding a number of executive roles in marketing for new and emerging products. Lakhani holds a Master's Degree in Engineering from Carelton University, an MBA from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from McMaster University.
Dan Leary

Dan brings to ConSentry more than 15 years of networking experience as a product management and marketing executive. Dan is responsible for the overall direction, strategy, and marketing of ConSentry's products worldwide. Prior to ConSentry Networks, Dan served as vice president of product management at both Juniper Networks and Peribit Networks. At Peribit, he led the development of a product strategy that helped create and define the "WAN optimization" category. Gerrit is a solution manager with IBM Global Technology Service's Security & Privacy Services Product Line, where he specializes in developing global solutions and services in the Data Security space. He has over 30 years of experience in the IT field and is a qualified consultant in Information Security. Prior to his assignment to the global team he performed networking and security consulting engagements in all industry sectors in North America, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Gerrit often worked with the CIO and CISO to help establish or enhance their Information Security Offices and Security Programs.
Gerrit completed several international assignments within IBM and is the author of several technical books on implementation and integration of solutions in the high speed networking and security environment. Gerrit is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and is also certified by IBM as a Managing Consultant.
Steve Peltzman
CIO, Museum of Modern Art
Steve Peltzman is responsible for all of MoMA's technology, including infrastructure and applications, websites, multimedia displays and exhibitions, and strategic technology partnerships. Steve spearheaded the technology design and implementation for MoMA's $858M new building project, which opened in 2004 and featured a comprehensive strategic technology partnership with IBM.
Before MoMA, Peltzman was vice president of Technology Operations for IT portal EarthWeb.com. Prior to that, he served seven years as a USAF Officer, analyzing capabilities and tactics for the B-2 Stealth Bomber Program Office and directing a key $56M program into deployment for the Joint Mission Planning Program Office.
Peltzman holds a B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from MIT and an MBA from Columbia Business School. He is a Mentor in Columbia University's Executive Master of Science in Technology Program, and serves on the CIO Advisory Board of Gemini Israel Funds.

Mr. Scharf is currently employed as the head of security for a global market data and analytics firm. He is responsible for numerous aspects of security including information security, physical security, business continuity, security awareness/training and investigations. His focus on security strategies has supported his organization in growing a world-class security program that concentrates on customer and employee protection via constant security testing and improvements.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Scharf was a managing security architect for security consulting firm @stake. Steven Schoenfeld

Mike Witkowski

Mike Witkowski has been creating, developing and applying innovative technologies to the data communications, storage and server markets for over 21 years. With experience in both hardware and software product development, Mike brings a unique combination of experience as CTO. Prior to CipherMax, Mike was a principal member of Technical Staff at Compaq Computer Corp. (now HP) where he spent 12 years involved in development of a wide range of enterprise-class IT products spanning technology disciplines that included ASIC/FPGA design, PCBA design, embedded firmware and system software development. Prior to Compaq, Mike spent five years involved in the development of networking controllers at Texas Instruments, where he was also responsible for the development, application and customer support of protocol firmware and operating system drivers. Mike earned B.S. degrees in both Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
