If HP's board fires Léo Apotheker as rumored, one of the following candidates may turn out to be the new CEO
Also world-famous is casino-and-building magnate Donald Trump, who is amazingly good at getting people to pay attention to him.
Pros: He excels at convincing bankruptcy courts and other people to fund his endeavors, successful and otherwise, so he could bring new money to HP. He's a tireless self-promoter and could return the spotlight to HP and the positives as he sees them. He's well-exercised in firing people.
Cons: He's routinely declaring bankruptcy, says amazingly bone-headed things on purpose just to get attention, has a very messy private life that is not well tolerated outside a few companies (such as Oracle), and knows nothing about the technology industry.
