The Macbook Air is a netbook.

I just bought a netbook, HP Mini 1035NR, when the old laptop died. It is an able replacement, with the added convenience of light weight and portability. The biggest problem I had was figuring out how to get the 1024x600 screen out of HP! The book-size form factor is great, as is the low weight. After watching folks struggle to read maps and text on tiny cell phone screens, I can't see an effective way to use a screen much smaller than a 10 in. wscvga.

I'm using Asus 1000HE intensively for several monthes, it's price and portability are great. For the small screen, Safari and Chrome(Iron) offers maximum usable area, as well as Firefox's F11 key. I think Netbook can be more useful if some functionalities in cell phone is utilized, such as joystick to scroll. With Webe based experience, apart from maximum use of Windows App, I expect Windows-free (Linux may be) Netbook with large (more pixel) screen. Atom is enough for me for portable use like stationely.
