Once the media content is transferred from Mac or PC to the LaCinema Rugged HD, it is ready to be viewed on any display with an HDMI connection.
The compact LaCinema Rugged HD is appealingly styled by famed designer and LaCie regular Neil Poulton, a graduate in Industrial Design from Edinburgh University and Milan's Domus Academy, now based in Paris.
The design offers what LaCie claims is an unique scratch-resistant aluminium shell, along with internal anti-shock absorbers, and a shock-resistant rubber bumper to better protect media files against abuse.
The LaCie LaCinema Rugged HD starts from £259.99 (US$420.74) including VAT. Full details can be found at www.lacie.com/uk.
