LG is the latest in a long-line of mobile phone manufacturers to launch its own app store.
LG said the store will launch in Singapore, Malaysia and Australia with 1,400 apps including around 100 apps that are free. All of the apps are expected to be available in 15 languages.

The company said it plans to roll-out the store in the UK by the end of the year, when it hopes to offer around 2,000 apps.
Nokia, BlackBerry and even mobile operators O2 and Vodafone have all opened the doors to their own app stores this year, in a bid to emulate the success of Apple's iTunes app store, which in April hit the one billion download mark.
