A sampler of fresh startup jobs

Do you have what it takes? These positions are just waiting for skilled applicants to step up to the plate

Welcome to the rainbow’s end, a 175,000-squre foot building in Sunnyvale, Calif.  The pot of gold at the PlugandPlay Tech Center in Sunnyvale is a great job at one of the 110 startups headquartered here. If you’re looking for work, this privately subsidized incubator is one of the most fertile hunting grounds in Silicon Valley. Indeed, there are so many jobs here (at least 50 companies say they are hiring), we can’t list them all.

But Saheed Amidi, the Iranian-born investor and one-time rug merchant who founded the center, told InfoWorld he’s ready to help. Contact the center at rose@plugandplaytechcenter.com and its staff will circulate your resume.

If you’d stopped at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco in mid-September, you would have had the chance to meet with dozens of Web 2.0 entrepreneurs and execs who attended the TechCrunch40 conference. So to jumpstart your job search, check out our sampler of high-tech jobs mentioned at the conference. A complete list of participating companies is available here.
