InfoWorld's 2009 geek gadget gift guide

It's that time of year: the first snows, the time to reflect over the Thanksgiving holidays, and the soon-to-be-endless Christmas jingles at stores everywhere. While we geeks are always on the lookout for cool gadgets, the holidays are the time to indulge.

And it is in that spirit that we've selected 10 must-have gadgets that make the perfect gift for the geek in your life -- or for yourself. We’ve skipped obvious items likely to already be on your list -- the new Star Trek movie on Blu-ray, a new iPhone, HTC Droid Eris, or Palm Pre, that 1.5TB external network drive for all your music, videos, and photos, and so on.

We'd love your suggestions as well, so please add them to the comments section.

I don't want a slide show and I have not watched it.
I just want a simple to load, simple to read HTML page list of products. This is InfoWorld for professionals (I thought) not "Gamers Paradise"

But how would they get the page to refresh and show new ads every time you moved down the list???

I'm with you brother... I think it's about time to unsubscribe from this list.
