DOCUMENT IMAGING SOFTWARE vendor LaserFiche on Monday rolled out LaserFiche United, which integrates document management, full-text retrieval, Web distribution, and workflow with existing applications. The product provides a centralized document repository and integration tools designed to allow data sharing with enterprise applications including CRM and ERP. In addition, LaserFiche United includes a set of modules designed to address departmental needs such as Web-based distribution, workflow, and disaster recovery. The product can improve productivity by providing real-time access and search capabilities for as many as a billion pages of information in the enterprise, according to Thomas Wayman, marketing director at LaserFiche, in Long Beach, Calif.
