Hide System Preferences menu icons you don't use regularly

Here's how you can customize the System Preferences menu in OS X Mountain Lion to hide icons you don't use.

1. Open System Preferences.

2. Click the View option in the menu bar.

3. Click on Customize.

4. Check boxes will appear next to each icon in System Preferences.

5. Uncheck the ones you don't want to appear in System Preferences.
