Add additional items to the Menu Bar in OS X

Put addition icons on the Menu Bar on your Mac

Here's how you can add additional items to the Menu Bar in OS X on your Mac.

1. Open a Finder window.

2. Go to /System/Library/CoreServices/Menu Extras

3. You will see a list of Menu Bar items.

4. Double click any of the items to add them to your Menu Bar.

5. To remove them, hold down the Command key while dragging the item off the menu bar and then release it.
