Disable site tracking in Safari in OS X

Stop web sites from tracking you in Safari on the Mac

Here's how you can disable web site tracking in Safari on your Mac.

1. Open Safari on your Mac.

2. Click the Safari option in the menu bar.

3. Click on Preferences.

4. Go to the Privacy tab.

5. Click the check box next to "Website tracking: Ask websites not to track me."

This option can be very helpful in protecting your online privacy while using Apple's Safari browser in OS X.
