Block social media spoilers with a free Chrome extension

Mute spoilers on Facebook and Twitter

Here's a useful Chrome extension that will mute spoilers for TV shows, sports, music and other things on Facebook and Twitter. You'l love this if you've ever had a show or event ruined by seeing a spoiler on Twitter or Facebook.

1. Go to the Silencer download page.

2. Click the Add to Chrome button.

You can also use a "Mute Pack" to mute lots of different words with just one click. It's just too bad that this extension doesn't work with real people too. I've had movies ruined by somebody blabbing a spoiler. Somebody actually told me that Luke and Leia were brother and sister before I'd seen Return of the Jedi. Ugh!

Aaaah well, Silencer should be very helpful for Chrome users. There's nothing worse than pulling up Facebook, and then finding out what happened on your favorite show before you've watched it.
