Use hibernate in Ubuntu 13.04

Here's how you can enable the hibernate option in Ubuntu 13.04.

1. Open a terminal window.

2. Type in the following command then hit Enter.

sudo gedit /var/lib/polkit-1/localauthority/50-local.d/hibernate.pkla

3. Paste in this code into the file: [Re-enable Hibernate] Identity=unix-user:* Action=org.freedesktop.upower.hibernate ResultActive=yes

4. Save your file.

5. Shut down your Ubuntu 13.04 system.

6. Restart your computer.
