Install VueScan 9.2.23 in Linux

Add the VueScan scanner tool to your Linux computer

Here's how you can install the VueScan 9.2.23 scanner tool in Linux. VueScan provides support for more than 1000 scanners on your Linux computer.

1. Open a terminal window.

2. Type in the following commands, note that the commands are different for 32-bit and 64-bit systems.

For 32-bit:

wget -c www.hamrick.com/files/vuex3292.tgz

tar -xzvf vuex3292.tgz

cd VueScan

sudo chmod +x vuescan

./vuescan

For 64-bit systems:

wget -c www.hamrick.com/files/vuex6492.tgz

tar -xzvf vuex6492.tgz

cd VueScan

sudo chmod +x vuescan

./vuescan
