Install Wine 1.6 in Ubuntu 13.04

Add Wine 1.6 to your Ubuntu 13.04 system

Here's how you can install Wine 1.6 in Ubuntu 13.04.

1. Open a terminal window.

2. Type in the following commands then hit Enter after each.

To install it by PPA, use these commands:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-wine/ppa

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install wine1.6 winetricks

To install it from sources, use these commands:

sudo apt-get install flex bison qt3-dev-tools qt4-qmake

wget -c http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/wine/wine-1.6.tar.bz2

tar -xjvf wine-1.6.tar.bz2

cd wine-1.6*

./configure

cd tools

./wineinstall
