Remove device backups from iTunes

Here's how you can remove device backups in iTunes. This can help free up hard disk space on your computer, depending on the number and size of the backups you have in iTunes.

1. Open iTunes.

2. Go to Preferences.

3. Go to Devices.

4. You'll see a list of backups.

5. Select the backup you want to remove, then click the Delete Backup button.

It's definitely important to backup your iOS devices, but why waste disk space on device backups that you don't really need? Clean out all the unnecessary ones and you can free up hard disk space on your computer.
