Here's how you can install LibreOffice 4.0.4 in Ubuntu 13.04. Interoperability with proprietary document formats has been improved in this release. It also includes font embedding in documents, and users can now edit PDF files.
1. Open a terminal window.
2. Type in the following commands then hit Enter after each.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:libreoffice/libreoffice-4-0
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install libreoffice
