Disable auto-correction on the Nexus 7

Turn off auto-correction while typing on the Google Nexus 7 tablet

Here's how you can disable auto-correction while typing on the Nexus 7 tablet.

1. Go to Settings.

2. Choose Language & Input.

3. Under the Personal option, tap on the Quick Settings icon.

4. Tap on Auto-Correction under Text Correction.

5. Tap on the Off option for Auto-Correction.

Auto-correction can be very useful, but it can also be a huge headache. Sometimes it's simply easier to turn it off while typing on your Nexus 7. If you change your mind you can always turn it back on later just as easily.
