Install WineHQ 1.7.12 in Linux Mint 16

Add WineHQ to your Linux Mint 16 computer to run Windows applications

Here's how you can install WineHQ 1.7.12 in Linux Mint 16. WineHQ lets you run Windows applications on your Linux Mint 16 computer.

1. Open a terminal window.

2. Type in the following commands then hit Enter after each.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-wine/ppa

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install wine1.7 winetricks
