Here's how you can help protect your privacy by installing the Tor Browser Bundle 3.5.1.1 in Linux Mint 16. Tor works to keep you anonymous while using the Internet.

1. Open a terminal window.

2. Type in the following commands then hit Enter after each.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/tor-browser

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install tor-browser

The Tor Browser anonymizes the traffic and encrypts everything everything in the Tor network. Via the HTTPS-Everywhere extension, it also encrypts the traffic between the Tor network and the final destination.
