Here's how you can install FlareGet download manager 3.1 in Linux Mint 16. FlareGet can replace your browser's download manager.
1. Open a terminal window.
2. Type in the following commands then hit Enter after each.
wget -O flareget-32.deb http://drive.noobslab.com/data/apps/flareget/flareget_3.1-36_i386.deb
sudo dpkg -i flareget-32.deb
sudo apt-get -f install;rm flareget-32.deb
wget -O flareget-amd64.deb http://drive.noobslab.com/data/apps/flareget/flareget_3.1-36_amd64.deb
sudo dpkg -i flareget-amd64.deb
sudo apt-get -f install;rm flareget-amd64.deb
