Here's how you can install the Telegram app for Unity in Ubuntu 14.04. Telegram is a cloud-based and encrypted app that lets you share photos, videos and files.

1. Open a terminal window.

2. Type in the following commands then hit Enter after each.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:costales/unity-webapps-telegram

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install unity-webapps-telegram

Telegram is like SMS and email combined - fast, versatile and powerful. It is cross-platform app available for Android, Linux, Windows, Mac, and Windows Phone. You can send messages, photos, videos and files of any type (doc, zip, mp3, etc) to people who are in your phone contacts and have Telegram. You can also create groups for up to 200 people.
