Use swipe to go forward or back in Safari in iOS 7.1

Move back and forth in Safari by swiping in iOS 7.1.

Here's how you can use swipe to move forward and back in Safari in iOS 7.1.

1. To go forward put your finger on the right side of the screen and swipe toward the center.

2. To go back just swipe your finger from the left side of the screen toward the center.

Once you get used to swiping in Safari, you'll wonder why you ever used the back and forward buttons. It's so much faster and easier to move through web pages by swiping.

Safari is easy to use, but you may never find all of its useful features unless you go looking for them. iPads have many useful navigation tricks you may never stumble across, and Safari has its own tricks.
