Install aTunes audio player in Debian 7

Add the aTunes audio player and organizer to your Debian 7 computer

aTunes is an open source audio player and organizer that is reminiscent of Apple's iTunes. Here's how you can install it in Debian 7.

1. Open a terminal window.

2. Type in the following commands then hit Enter after each:

sudo add-apt-repository "deb precise main"

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install atunes

3. If you prefer not to use the PPA listed above, you can opt to download aTunes from SourceForge or Fosshub. There are versions available for Windows and OS X, as well as for Linux.

aTunes supports a variety of audio formats such as mp3, ogg, wma, wav, flac and mp4. It also has tons of features, you can view a full list of them on the aTunes Wiki.
