Sana to Secure Core Windows Services
Sana Security on Monday will introduce a new family of products, dubbed Attack Shield, with the unveiling of Attack Shield WS. The WS stands for worm suppression, and Sana designed the software to protect pieces that anti-virus products do not, namely core Windows services that are susceptible to memory-based worms. The company claims those worms account for approximately 60 percent of attacks against its customers. Attack Shield WS starts at $9.95 per machine; volume pricing is available.
