InfoWorld accepting Green 15 award nominations

Nominate your organization's 2008 green IT projects by Feb. 25

Over the past year, organizations of all sizes, both in the U.S. and abroad, have been hard at work leveraging IT to implement critical green-tech projects in an effort to reduce waste, shrink carbon footprints, and save money. We at InfoWorld would like to honor the most innovative green-technology projects of 2008 through our Green 15 award program.

Perhaps your organization has consolidated and virtualized your datacenter, or has reduced travel in favor of videoconference and teleconferencing. Maybe you've substantially reduced paper waste by automating some of your processes. Or maybe your organization has constructed a state-of-the-art datacenter that draws on best practices to use less energy than rival facilities.

To nominate your organization's efforts, please fill out the InfoWorld Green 15 nomination form. Nominations are due by Feb. 25, 2009. Winners will be announced on Earth Day, April 22, 2009.
