I've recently started an HPC podcast, and the latest edition of the insideHPC.com Weekly Takeout was posted over the weekend.
I don't usually take this space to talk about side projects, but I thought this one would interest several of you. The Takeout is a summary of the news from enterprise and technical supercomputing for the week just ended. This is the fifth week, and I think I'm finally getting most of the bugs out of the process (although iTunes has yet to pick up my podcast artwork...grrr!)
In this week’s episode we talk about HP’s rumored $1B takeover of French HPC hardware maker Bull, news from the week’s second quarter financial reporting, new Intel technologies and the EU’s charges of monopoly abuse in Intel’s aggressive moves to quash competition from AMD. We also cover NASA’s bid to build the largest shared memory supercomputer in the world, the markets, and much more.
