Video: Tim Cook unveils iOS 7

Apple's CEO was joined by Craig Federighi, senior VP of software engineering, onstage at WWDC to introduce new OS

At WWDC (Worldwide Developers Conference), Apple CEO Tim Cook took the stage to show off iOS 7, calling it the biggest change to iOS since the introduction of the iPhone. The new interface is designed to be "unobtrusive and deferential," according to Apple, and the OS is able to track users' motion as they hold their devices.

Of course, Cook couldn't resist taking some shots at the competition during his presentation, noting the fragmentation that plagues the Android ecosystem and is particularly troublesome for developers. Apple, by comparison, puts the emphasis on getting as many users as possible onto the latest version of its OS, Cook claimed.
