The Demo Fall 2013 conference gives more than 40 startups and entrepreneurs just minutes on-stage to pitch their products before a crowd of investors, reporters, bloggers, and potential customers. The Demo pitch has been the first step for startups that have grown into industry mainstays, such as VMware, salesforce.com, TiVo, and E-Trade. Years from now, the companies debuting at this year's Demo conference might find themselves in similar company.
