RFID Tracking for Pharmaceuticals
Project Lead: Paul Fowler,Vice President of E-commerce and Emerging Technologies
Project Description: Implemented RFID to track the shipments of certain high-value Pfizer and GSK drugs flowing through its facilities. McKesson leveraged Blue Vector's network appliances to connect to RFID readers and other sensors. The system made it easy to quickly build a large widely distributed system that can be centrally managed and integrated with other systems.
