To simulate a remote management scenario, which is common for the LiveVault target audience, I installed the service on a
distant Microsoft Windows server accessed from my location via Remote Desktop Connection.
To populate directories with measured amounts of data I used batch scripts replicating a file multiple times according to
simple formulas. Using the LiveVault GUI, I launched restore jobs with differently sized data content, comparing their duration
with the estimates suggested by the vendor.
I verified that each possible restore options, for instance, renaming existing files before the copy, performed as expected.
Despite occasional interruptions, the LiveVault service acted as expected and restarted pending jobs correctly when the connection
was restored.
