UpdateExpert requires 50MB RAM on a Pentium-class Windows NT 4.0, 2000, or XP system with 30MB space for a typical installation of console and master agent, 35MB RAM for a console-only installation, and 20MB for a master agent-only install, as well as extra space for any desired patches on the relevant system.

I ran a typical console/master agent installation of the product on a Compaq ML530 Windows 2000 Advanced Server, then installed master agents on other Windows 2000 network clients. My tests focused on ease of use, range of reporting capabilities, and degree of customization for user configurations and research tools.
