InfoWorld's 'Product Previews' Program Expands Vendor Opportunities for Connecting with Key Prospects
Offers Technology Vendors Direct Venue for Product Submissions

June 8, 2004 -- San Francisco, CA -- Due to overwhelming response to its new Product Previews section, InfoWorld, a weekly print and online magazine for the IT industry, launched an online feature enabling IT vendors to directly submit their products to the magazine's staff for consideration. The Web-based form streamlines the process of product submissions. Now, vendors can easily categorize their offerings and provide pricing, availability, and contact information, to ensure that InfoWorld staff has all the information they need to evaluate each product, technology or service. This feature allows vendors to speedily coordinate their efforts to bring awareness of their products and services to the market.

Product Previews, which debuted with the April 5, 2004 issue of InfoWorld, brings the magazine's readers concise, accurate information on new and upcoming enterprise products and services every week. Each product or service showcase has been hand-chosen by InfoWorld staff and Test Center analysts, enabling InfoWorld readers to make better-informed IT purchasing decisions for their organizations.

"The online submission feature for Product Previews is a great advantage for vendors," says Paul Calento, vice president of marketing for the InfoWorld Media Group. "This unique 'call-to-action' empowers the vendor community by providing a way to quickly publicize their products."

InfoWorld's sharp focus on the evaluation and selection of information technologies has driven high levels of reader interaction, as well as vendor demand to connect with this influential audience. Vendors can submit a request to have their product, technology or service previewed at: http://www.infoworld.com/previews.
