May 7, 2004 -- San Francisco, CA -- Today, InfoWorld announced its participation in three targeted events during next week's NetWorld+Interop Conference and Exhibition in Las Vegas, NV. Each event outreaches to a specific technology stakeholder group. These constituencies include Senior IT Buyers (InfoWorld's core audience), Technology Vendors (InfoWorld's primary advertisers), and Channel Partners (a primary component to connecting these buyers and vendors.)

Tuesday, May 11
The event will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center in the Gigabit Lounge, Booth 1055, from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm on Tuesday, May 11. The event provides an exclusive opportunity for U.S. VARs, solution providers, integrators, and business/technology consultants to meet face-to-face with international technology vendors looking for U.S. channel partners. Attendance is open to attendees with a NetWorld+Interop "Channel" badge. As a media sponsor of this event, InfoWorld aims to facilitate opportunities for international companies to build their channel strategies and ultimately connect with InfoWorld's audience: senior technology buyers at end-user companies that need to "Get Technology Right."
InfoWorld.com's "Get Technology Right" Celebration (for Technology Vendors)

The party will be held at the Hard Rock Hotel poolside May 11, 7:00pm - 9:00pm, and is an official InfoWorld event geared toward presenting the new advertising opportunities for IT media buyers within the re-launch of the InfoWorld.com Website. This invitation-only event is open to technology vendors, advertising agencies, and public relations partners. Recent additions to InfoWorld.com highlighted at the event include the InfoWorld TechIndex, RSS feeds, and lead generation through InfoWorld Special Reports. Interop After Dark: Security Lounge (for Senior IT Buyers)

This event will be held on May 12, by the Beach Nightclub 6:30pm - 8:30pm, and is an N+I event for attendees with a security theme. An "Interop After Dark" pass, available for purchase with MediaLive International, is required to attend the event.
