IDG's InfoWorld Opens Press Registration for SOA Executive Forum Events on Enabling Business Agility
April 18, 2005 -- San Francisco, CA -- InfoWorld, the leading provider of comprehensive technology intelligence, today announced a dedicated press registration system for the SOA Executive Forum event series, taking place on May 5 at the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose, CA, and on May 17 at Le Parker Meridien Hotel in New York. More than 30 industry experts are scheduled to speak at this series. SOA Executive Forum conferences are designed to provide senior technology and business decision-makers with the insight they need to plan, implement, and manage a service-oriented architecture (SOA). Limited complimentary passes ($695 value/event) are available to approved press, subject to availability. Press may register.
"Service-oriented architecture presents a tremendous opportunity for organizations to maximize the value of their technology investments and for vendors to provide vital information for business and IT professionals," said Kevin McKean, InfoWorld's CEO. "InfoWorld's SOA Executive Forum events aim to unlock the business and technological promise of service-oriented architecture."
About SOA Executive Forum
InfoWorld's SOA Executive Forum events provide an arena for peers and industry experts to come together and develop informed strategies that ensure successful SOA implementations. The SOA model represents the biggest change in enterprise IT since the Internet. When applications are treated as services, a transformation in technical approach, IT workflow, and business planning is required.
A winning SOA strategy, resulting in cost savings and a highly flexible application infrastructure, hinges on reliable information from leading technologists and early adopters who have already begun to reap the benefits.
BEA Systems is a cornerstone sponsor of the event. Computer Sciences Corporation and HP are platinum sponsors. Gold-level sponsors include Dante Consulting, Plumtree Software, SOA Software, and Sonic Software.
