CareerJournal.com to Power Job Databases for IDG's Enterprise Group of IT Publications

PRINCETON, NJ, February 6, 2003 − CareerJournal.com, the executive career site from The Wall Street Journal, will partner with CIO, Computerworld, InfoWorld, Network World and IT Careers to manage all online job and resume databases for IDG's Enterprise Group of IT publications within the United States.
CareerJournal.com will power the databases for print and online publications, including www.computerworld.com, www.infoworld.com, www.nwfusion.com, www.cio.com and www.itcareers.com. Career content, ranging from job-search to career-management topics will be integrated into each of the IDG Enterprise Group sites.
The new job databases will utilize web-based job and resume replication, distribution and response-management database technologies and services from CareerCast, a Carlsbad, Calif.-based firm working in alliance with CareerJournal.com.

"This partnership allows us to greatly expand CareerJournal.com's reach among high-tech executives, managers and professionals."
The new job databases will join CareerJournal.com's national network of career sites, which includes more than 70 newspaper, magazine and television web sites across the country. The national network offers recruiters the ability to reach a broad geographic area of highly qualified job seekers by placing job listings on multiple sites simultaneously.
